Are there any neighborhoods to avoid in Copenhagen?
Denmark is one of the safest countries in Europe. During our stay in Copenhagen, we never felt unsafe. As you can see in the playgrounds, restaurants, churches and museums, there are plenty of children’s games available.
We were only a little more vigilant in the busy tourist area of Indre By.
On the other hand, we advise you not to stay in Amager Øst and Bispebjerg, which are remote residential areas that will require you to spend more time in public transport. Choosing a hotel in these areas could limit your travel time and make your stay less enjoyable.
